what are your covid protocols?
Kate is up-to-date on COVID and flu vaccines. She will gladly wear a mask upon request.
If you have tested positive, been exposed to COVID, or are not feeling well, we will waive the 24-hour cancellation fee. Online lessons are also a great Plan B.

what's the difference between "private lessons" and "private courses"?
Private lessons, which include in-person lessons (single or three-pack) and online lessons, are appropriate for behavior issues, or for dogs who don't need a full puppy/manners foundation. Private lessons are flexible and personalized, as we work in-depth on the topics that are most important to you. For three-packs, we space out lessons according to your needs, within the six-month limit.
Private courses follow a set curriculum, just like a group class would. Classes take place in (or near) your home for one hour each. You and Kate will determine a course schedule prior to the first class, and all classes must be completed within four weeks. Once set, the class schedule cannot be changed. You should only choose this option if you can commit to the schedule we set.

DO I NEED TO PREPAY?
Nope! You'll receive a link with touchless payment options in advance, but we usually process payment at the end of the first lesson/class. If you choose a three-pack or private course, you'll pay in full at the end of the first lesson/class.
ARE THERE ANY EXTRA CHARGES?
Usually, no! Sales tax and transaction fees are included.
If your location is outside of our service area, expect a fee based on mileage.
If free parking is not available in your area, the cost of parking will be added to the lesson fee.
